I inherited a website and wasn't sure how secure or well written it was. I had already met Derek on a couple of occasions so he seemed the obvious choice. Derek is ideally the guy you call and contract before your website goes down. In reality you will call him when you are in a panic needing a solution in hours, because your web presence doesn't work, or falls down regularly. He will then fix it, improve it and deliver all this in a quicker timescale than required, in the most solid manner possible.

On requiring a forum for sharing best practice from my website, Derek spent some time establishing exactly what we needed, and then recommended the most appropriate platform. He customised the platform to our specification very quickly and accurately, and then spent some time showing us how to use it effectively. We are thrilled with the outcome – the whole process was so smooth and straightforward, and Derek was always available for any queries we had.

Derek is an exceptionally technical individual, however he's a rare breed. He's a techie that can talk on a level that a layperson will understand. I've worked with him on a couple of projects and what has never ceased to amaze me is his ability to get an understanding of a situation, and then work at rectifying that situation as quickly and comprehensively as possible.
